Padel and Racket Sports Club Management: Needs and What ClubFlow Covers Today

Padel is one of the fastest growing racket sports worldwide and in Türkiye, celebrated for its accessible learning curve and social gameplay. Operating a padel club, however, differs from traditional tennis in one important way: padel is played almost exclusively as doubles with four players. If two players drop out, the match collapses and the court stays empty.

This guide explains what a padel club should expect from its software and states plainly which of those needs ClubFlow covers today.

Operational challenges in padel facility administration

Rapidly growing padel clubs face recurring management hurdles:

1. Four-player scheduling: Aligning four calendars frequently triggers late cancellations when one player drops out.
2. Payment collection friction: Requiring one host to pay the full court fee and collect the other three shares discourages spontaneous bookings.
3. Running social events: Scoring weekly Americano or Mexicano events with pen and paper leads to scoring and pairing mistakes.

That is why padel clubs usually look for open matches that find the fourth player, court fees split between four players, level-based matching and scoring for social tournaments.

What ClubFlow offers today

ClubFlow's court sports platform currently runs for tennis clubs. A padel-specific setup is not open yet and appears as "Coming soon" in onboarding. These are the parts tennis clubs use today:

• Online court booking: Free slots are visible in the member app and on the club's online booking page; the same court cannot be booked twice for the same time.
• Price rules: Court and lesson prices can be set by service, court, day, time and membership.
• Lessons and programmes: Private lessons, group lessons and term programmes are managed with capacity limits and a waiting list.
• Opponent finder: Level-based one-to-one match listings, a link to a court booking and an even split of the court fee between the two players.
• Court closures: Courts can be closed in one step for rain or maintenance, and affected players are told about the cancellation.

Not yet available for padel

The following features are not available in ClubFlow today; if your padel club depends on them, factor that into your decision:

• Four-player open matches: The opponent finder only matches one-to-one games; there is no flow for opening a match with empty seats and finding the fourth player.
• Per-player payments: There is no checkout that splits the court fee into four equal shares; today the split is between two players.
• Americano, Mexicano and tournaments: Americano, Mexicano, knockout draws, leagues and ladders are not available yet.
• Equipment rental: Racket and ball rental cannot be selected during booking.
• Hardware integration: There is no automatic connection to court lighting or gate locks.

Making a decision

Compare your requirements with the two lists above. The platform that runs today manages courts, lessons and one-to-one matches; four-player play and tournaments are not covered yet.
